Child Care

Please note that no official arrangements have been made for child care during the Conference. We suggest you check with your accommodation provider who may be able to assist you further with babysitting services during your stay.

The average maximum temperature in October is 22.8 degrees celsius with an average minimum of 11.1 degrees celsius. The average rainfall is 43.5mm for the month.

Indemnity

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the Host, Organising Committee and EventEdge International Management Group accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to attending the Conference. Neither the Conference Secretariat nor the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.

Meals

We recognise that some delegates may have special dietary requirements. Please advise the Conference Secretariat via the registration form or in writing should you require alternative arrangements be made on your behalf.

Parking

Ample free car parking is available around the Burswood Entertainment Complex and undercover paid parking is also available. You can expect to pay $10.00 per day for undercover car parking. Valet Parking is also available and the current rates for valet parking are $20.00 per vehicle, per day to a maximum of $50.00 per stay.

Privacy Statement

In registering for this event relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, sponsors, WorkCover WA, EventEdge International Management Group and other parties directly related to the Conference. Should you wish for your details not to be included in this list, please tick the privacy requested box on the registration form.

Smoking Policy

The West Australian Government imposes a strict no smoking policy in venues, restaurants, bars and shopping centres in Perth.

Visa’s

International visitors to Australia require a Visa or an electronic travel authority. It is your responsibility to ensure documentation is correct and complete before you commence your journey. Information on obtaining visas or ETA's can be found on the web site - www.eta.immi.gov.au

Visitors to Perth

Perth Airport is the international and regional gateway to Western Australia. Located only 12 km north east from the heart of Perth, shuttle buses operate between the airports, Perth city and Fremantle. Hire cars and taxis are easily available.

Airport to City Shuttle Services

Bus shuttle services are available from Perth Airport to the city. A one-way trip from the domestic terminal costs $11.00 per person and from the International terminal costs $13.00 per person.

Taxi

Taxi ranks are located outside both terminals, and commissionaires are available to assist you during peak movement periods. As a general guide, the following fees apply for taxi’s travelling from:

Domestic terminal to CBD: $27
International terminal to CBD: $35

Public Transport

Perth has an advanced public transport infrastructure providing frequent train and bus services. Free Central Area Transit (CAT) busses also operate within the Central Business District, allowing passengers to hop on and off with ease.
